Natural disasters are common occurrence no matter where you live.
There will always be dangers of flooding, earthquakes, high winds, and wildfires. Unfortunately, the common knowledge about the importance of a survival plan to combat these natural disasters is not accepted by a large portion of the population. Even with much evidence to back up its importance, the fallacy that it probably won’t happen to me still reigns in their mind. There are several common reasons for neglecting disaster preparedness.
