Identity theft incidents are on the rise yet again. They are the reason why we rush to call up our banks as soon as we lose our wallet, they are the reason we change our passwords and they are the reason we breathe a sigh of relief when we hear about ID theft and it’s not us who are affected.

Here are some tips on how to keep your personal information safe when
you are on the go.

First, when you travel, remove cards you won’t need on vacation from your wallet. It is estimated that 47% of people don’t remove unnecessary documents from the wallet.

Avoid public computers. Major issues include keylogging software, outdated security system and no anti-virus. If you do need to use one then don’t enter banking info and change passwords asap.
