Samsung Solve for Tomorrow is more than a global education program — it’s a platform where students turn bold ideas into real-world solutions. Through this nationwide STEM competition, middle and high school students use their knowledge of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to tackle local and global challenges, all while sharpening critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
What sets Solve for Tomorrow apart is Samsung’s Design Thinking training. Students gain hands-on experience at every stage of innovation — from identifying a problem and brainstorming ideas, to building prototypes and testing their solutions. This approach equips young innovators with practical skills they can use well beyond the classroom.
Launched in the United States in 2010 as an essay contest, Solve for Tomorrow has grown into a global movement, now reaching students in 68 countries. For over 15 years, the program has empowered youth to collaborate across borders, exchange ideas, and develop solutions that create meaningful change.
