How to be happy? This question I’ve asked myself hundreds of times. And I’m not alone. We live in a world of abandon and yet we are not happy. We have everything and still, we’re unhappy. We have enough food on the plate, we have a roof over our heads, we have even free education online, and yet somehow we are not happy.

We pursue happiness simply the wrong way. Happiness cannot be found, it can only be created for oneself. It actually takes an effort to be happy. There are different activities and things you can do that increase your chances to be truly happy.

This is not some mambo-jambo, this is proven science. Happiness researches have spent years and years looking for the secret ingredients to a happy life. Turns out, these ingredients are not so secret. But there are no quick fixes… Happiness is just like success, it takes effort.

The key to happiness lies not in changing your external circumstances (like money, fame, or power) but in changing your daily activities and habits. Happiness is something you create for yourself. It’s something to be practiced on a day-to-day basis. It takes a permanent effort to be permanently happy.
