The infographic below showcases some of the most expensive buildings in the world looks at who designed them and what these lavish structures feature. Among the illustrated landmark buildings are Abraj Al Bait, Marina Bay Sands, Resorts World Sentosa, Emirates Palace, Australian Parliament, the Cosmopolitan, One World Trade Center and Wynn Resort.

The infographic provides some key notes for each of the cited buildings and emphasizes on their architectural significance. For instance, the Abraj Al-Bait Towers are a part of the King Abdulaziz Endowment Project that strives to modernize the city of Mecca in catering to its pilgrims.

As for the Resorts World Sentosa, it is an integrated resort on the island of Sentosa. The key attractions include one of the Singapore’s two casinos, a Universal Studios theme park, etc.
