Surrey, British Columbia, is part of the urban Greater Vancouver, but it has its own unique history, geaography, and culture that make it a spectacular place to live and work. Surrey became a recognized city in 1993, a century after munical clerk H.J.Brewer named it for its resemblance to Surrey, England.
