Motorcycles can be dangerous. Here is an infographic showing the breakdown of the frequency and cause of most motorcycle accidents. This infographic provides information about the annual motorcycle accidents from 2009 until 2013. For example, in 2012 motorcycles were about 26 times more likely than passenger car occupants to die in a crash per vehicle mile traveled and 5 times to be injured. Moreover, a motorcyclist not wearing a helmet is 40% more likely to die of a head injury than one who wears a helmet.

The following infographic also gives information about the two-vehicle fatal motorcycle crashes as well as for the two vehicles crashes. In other words, be careful when riding a motorcycle and do not neglect the motorcycle safety rules.
